The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens needed some help to bring it up to date in terms of accessibility compliance and the design and functionality of its content management system (CMS). A little care for a neglected site can yield some great results.
Key aspects of the brief were to integrate their 'Places to visit'
database and establish a members resource section that could grow well
into the future.
This was a fun redevelopment of a really interesting
organisation's website. You can find a city farm or community garden
in your local area through the site, as well as submit and look out for
events happenning near you. Particular attention was given to the home
page layout and templating this and the members homepage all through a single template file.
Alan went above and beyond the call of duty to help us create the website we wanted, adding customised components and modules that tied-in with our particular activities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other organisations or individuals.
